Magoware, based on a wide experience on IPTV / OTT platforms, as well as based on the collaboration agreement with pioneer companies in the Broadcasting industry, was able to provide to Olympic Stadium & Lega Serie A for the first time in a record time, Synchronised Multi-angle/ Multiview feature in LIVE Streaming for OTT player applications.

Magoware was chosen from Lega Calcio Serie A & their partners to develop in 5 days multiplatform player applications to be presented in the MAIN EVENT held on Olympic Stadium in ROME, Wednesday, May 11, 2022, 21:00 CEST where Inter VS Juvents were playing for the Coppa Italia Title.

All the cameras on the field (in a variable number between five) produced from Lega Serie A

& Lissone centre, where the VAR resides, and from which the signals are then forwarded to Comintech which will push the streams with the required parameters to MAGOWARE multiplatform player apps for Win11 PC, Web app, Android Mobile/tablet, iOS iPhone/iPad.

Multiview/ Multi-Angle feature implemented in Live TV through a touch gesture/click to choose any from the set of thumbnails to display ( ¾ à ¼ screen) where the selected camera appears in the large section and the thumbnails of the other cameras to be selected in the small one.

Event highlights can be selected by the user and via catchup feature, synchronised for all five angles miniscreens, were able to replay in the same time the same fragment from the different cameras/angles displayed.

Magoware delivered the promised multiplatform player applications, cloud infrastructure, and the Middleware, prior to the deadline, clean QA and ready for the FINAL.

IT was a unique experience for the VIP Room and the main focus during the press conference for being the pioneers to bring such results on such a big Main event Like Coppa Italia FINAL.

Exited for future challenges :)
